Welcome
to
9th Asian PGPR International Conference on
"BioAg Inputs (BioSolutions) for the Second Green Revolution"

The global agricultural sector stands at a decisive crossroads. While the first Green Revolution successfully addressed hunger and food insecurity, its long-term dependence on chemical-intensive practices has led to soil degradation, ecological imbalance, climate vulnerability, escalating production costs, and growing concerns related to food safety and human health. The need of the hour is a fundamentally different pathway - the Second Green Revolution, one that is biology-led, soil-centric, climate-resilient, farmerprofitable, and health-oriented. This transition must move beyond yield maximization towards system regeneration, restoring soil biology, enhancing resilience, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

The 9th Asian PGPR International Conference – 2026 is envisioned as a global platform to place Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and BioAg inputs at the heart of this transformation. The Conference will bring together scientists, researchers, policy makers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, extension professionals, and farmers to accelerate the translation of cutting-edge microbial science into scalable, field-ready agricultural solutions. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, the Conference aims to address critical challenges such as declining soil organic carbon, reduced nutrient-use efficiency, climate extremes, environmental pollution, and public health concerns—while maintaining productivity and profitability. Participants will engage with innovative BioAg inputs that support climate-resilient agriculture sustainable food systems, and environmental regeneration.

We warmly welcome you to Goa, India, to be part of this global dialogue shaping the future of sustainable and resilient agriculture.

Dear Colleagues, Friends and Global Partners,

It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the 9th Asian PGPR International Conference, to be held in Goa, India, from 23–25 October 2026, under the inspiring theme “BioAg Inputs (Biosolutions) for the Second Green Revolution.”

Since our humble beginning in Hyderabad, India, in 2009, the Asian PGPR Society has proudly organized a continuous series of international conferences across China, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, and Taiwan — building a strong scientific bridge across Asia and the global BioAg community. Following the grand success of the Maha Kisan Mela 2025 and the powerful voices of our Annadatas (farmers), we felt a renewed global responsibility to address the scientific, policy, and field-level challenges raised during the Mela and strengthen the mission of the Second Green Revolution.

The overwhelming response from farmers, scientists, and industry leaders has placed upon us a tremendous responsibility to accelerate a biology-driven, soil-centric, climate-resilient, and farmer-profitable agricultural transformation. We therefore invite global leaders and innovators from around the world to join this collective movement.

Aligned with the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and India Vision 2047, this conference will integrate BioAg innovations, digital agriculture, organic and natural farming systems, and regenerative technologies to support a healthier planet and humanity — “Make the World Healthy Again.”

Beyond academic excellence, I warmly invite you to experience the cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, vibrant traditions, and rich culinary flavors of Goa. Let us come together to deliberate, collaborate, and act for the future of sustainable agriculture.

I look forward to welcoming you personally to Goa.

With warm regards,
Prof. M. S. Reddy
